Sorry for not posting in a while, I'll try my best to keep you updated with my pile of homework and projects. C.I.G. in 7th grade is hard ;-; By the way, C.I.G. stands for Center for Intellectually Gifted and it's a program in schools if you didn't know.

Transformice has recently updated with tribe houses. They are only available for tribes.
What is a tribe house?
A tribe house is a house only available for tribes. It is a special room, and only your tribe mates can go in to play music, play maps, or just hang out. 
How do you play music?
First, you must have the privileges to do that. If you already have the privileges, then click the radio in your tribe house(if there is one) and put in a direct mp3 link. Then click "Submit" or whatever it says.
How do I make a tribe map?
Go to map editor, and make your tribe house the way you want it to be. In Mice Stuff, there are some new house decor which you can change the color of for some. For example, for the background on the right there will be a place for you to put in the hex code. The hex code is basically a color code, sort of. When you are done, click Save/Load/Test and Export it as a tribe house. Make sure you have gathered 1000+ cheese with 40 cheese to spend on it.
How do you make a tribe?
Click Menu, then tribe if you don't already have a tribe. If you do, then click menu then tribe and click that "x". Then click leave this tribe. To make a new tribe you will need to spend 500 cheese. No, this does not remove any cheese from your profile, but from the shop. Then make a name for the tribe which has not been used yet.
How do I enter the tribe house?
There are two ways. One way is to type"/room *" and type in your tribe's name after the asterisk. Another way is to click Menu then tribe then enter the tribe house
Why do I have to type the asterisk before my tribe name, why can't I just type in my tribe's name?
Well you see, not all of your tribe mates will be on the same community as you. Some may be on EN,TR,RU,CN, etc. So you can hangout with all of your tribe mates from different communities ^^
Sometimes I click export as tribe house but it doesn't work! pls help :(
Just wait for a few seconds so it can load and show the @ code. It might take a while, so be patient ^_^ Or you don't have enough cheese.
I can sit? :o How?
Just click on one of the chairs or couches and you can sit anywhere you want *-* Sadly, it's not an emote yet so you can only do it with maps with chairs :<
I see some people's maps have backgrounds that aren't those daylight,etc. ones or dark blue, how?
In the map editor, there are new house decor. On the very top, there is Background. Choose that, and it will pop up with a place you can put your hex code in to make it different colors :D
Is there a limit to how many people are in the room?
Nope. You can have an unlimited number of mice in the room. But it'll just be really laggy if you have 200+mice in it.
Can mods enter my tribe house?
Unfortunately, no. Unless they are in the same tribe as you. Otherwise, no one will catch you hacking unless someone sees it and reports it with evidence.
omg omg I got a perm map in my tribe house! It has that cheese icon, seeeee?
Sorry to disappoint you, but if it was exported as a tribe house, it's not really actually permed. No one will be able to see your map in the outside cycle as permanent. It's just so no one can vote on it. Simple as that. Derp.

Hi guys 

As some of you asked for more communication from the staff, I am making this topic today to explain why the fur colors didn't come out yet, and why we can't answer you when they're gonna come.

We did implement the colors back in June, I made all the mice sprites color-izable, and Tig made it so we can change color dynamically without making a sprite for every color. We did run a lot of tests to see if it was viable, if the performances were okay etc.
We realized it led to a massive waiting from the players, the feature being the most expected by far. I can't count the number of private messages in my forum inbox asking for a special color.

Though, we didn't release it to the players. Why ?

Because we need to eat.

Let me explain here. Our goal was to propose to the players a few colors that you can buy with cheese (with a bit high amount to keep it rare), and more colors that you could pay for. Yes, that's right, microtransactions speaking here. BUT, we wouldn't sell those colors : we would leave you choose the price. Like, some kind of donation in game, but you would get a fur color to thank you. From 0.2$ to how much you want, and you would get a color.
We also intended to make some colors event-only, that you could win throught tribe wars, contests and so on.

But, we're facing a technic issue. We don't find a suitable way to pay in-game payments, as we know we would need many payment methods, like Paypal, Credit Card, Phone etc. Nothing quite really suits us right now. Plus, the company isn't quite fully registered yet, and while we've blocked the ads payments on the accounts in waiting for our company bank account, we won't start the microtransactions until we have a proper professionnal bank account.

So that's it, that's why we don't release the fur colors yet : because we've already put a lot of money into making this company (I made some counting this morning and realized I've already pulled more than 3500$ in it myself, with no revenue since May), and while ads are doing okay for the servers, we still need an additionnal income to support us and the future Community Manager that we're hiring.
That's also why we've removed the donation button, we want the players to get something back for their donation. We might come up with more exclusive items for donators in a close future, but we thought it would be a good start.

We're very sorry we've been so secret about it for so long. We're going to try to communicate more from now, about updates, thoughts, reasons etc.

The new version has been released. Quite fast, isn't it? Well, it's version 0.163 now. Here are the updates:

• Spanish server

Haha, some people have experienced a message like this:You are not authorized to speak on this server.
And, the Spanish fullscreen link is http://es.transformice.com. I've tried going to room racing before and I actually stole a few firsts, hehe.


Jadamaster asked why there was a Spanish server but not a Dutch server. It was because there was a lot of Spanish players, but not enough Dutch players.

The new version of Transformice has been released. It's version 0. 162. Here's the updates:

• Update reduces lag a lot.

This update is a performance update. Probably because when the colors release on Monday, there will be less lag. Last update, when I logged in I got a map that usually always lags. But then, I actually didn't lag during the map. Anyways, here are the bugs that came with this update:

• Respawning mice are invisible
• Animation lock when you get cheese
• (This isn't an important bug) When you're shaman, if you don't move you're going to look like a regular mouse which isn't a shaman.
